Latest Versions of Software and Firmware

    Hola

    TBC has available updates shown on the Startup page as well as a Check for Updates command on the Support tab. How can I find out the latest versions of other software?

    Specifically, I want a notification and/or email on when there is a new version of Siteworks, Earthworks, Receiver firmware, etc, along with release notes.

    Trimble produce News communications, which announce new products, updates to firmwares for Siteworks, Earthworks, etc.

    It is delivered from news@civilconstruction.trimble.com and is perfect for what you are after.

    The construction news email today is for Trimble Dealers only. Having something that can go directly to end users.

    Note that if you have the option of sending firmware updates to machines via WorksManager you should be able to see the release notes there. 

    Trimble Installation Manager (TIM) will also show the list of available versions. I thought that it had the release notes, as I have a Mac I can not use TIM

    I can't see any way to push firmware updates directly to machines through WorksManager, or to find the release notes for currently installed/available versions of firmware.

    TIM for Windows has release notes for SPS firmware, but there are no notifications I'm aware of for new versions.

    In my opinion, an email list would be ideal for this. Interested parties could be notified of new versions that include bug fixes, patch updates, etc - not just new features that might normally be associated with sales-focused newsletters.

    The ability to do this behind a feature flag, which the worksmanager team needs to turn on. You need to have your dealer create a support ticket if you do not have the ability.
