I have asked the Machine Control guys how they want to handle this - the standard response is that your dealer has this package and can provide it to you along with help / instructions on how to install it. So I would start there - call your local SITECH so that they can engage with you and get you what you need and assist you with setup etc. for the first time at least.

If you are having problems with that approach please email me alan_sharp@trimble.com and I will resolve it for you as fast as possible.

Thanks, Sitech has told me they have an option, but it is a little cumbersome. From the Forum above I thought maybe Trimble had a simpler solution. Thanks for the info.

The challenge is that Earthworks is an Android Platform Software and people want to emulate on a Windows box - that is what makes the install tricky and cumbersome - if you have an Android Tablet you can hook that in to a PC and run the emulation more easily - if not it can be done but it is a little heavier because it needs the Android OS Emulation in order to function

The User Guide for the emulator has some pretty good installations instructions. I'm quite happy using the Bluestacks emulator, been using it for customer trainings for the last couple months without issues.

Just remember that the Bluestacks Emulator has to be purchased and cannot be used unless you have a license to use it. They will come after you if you do not pay for the license.

You have to ask your SITECH Dealer for the Earthworks Simulator. They have access to it and can provide you with help and assistance on how to install and run it.
