Machine Control - Parabolic Crown?

We have started a project that will be running grade control on a dozer and motor grader.  This roadway is a 6" parabolic crown with two 8' section at different cross slopes.  I have the idea for lane guidance.  I belief the operators are not trained on using this feature.  So it maybe slow process for them to learn.  I also had the idea to extend the first 8' section at the crown by 4' then leave a 1' void and start the next 8' section of the parabolic crown.  This way the blade doesn't try to rollover n the next break.

Anyone felt with parabolic crown design in the grade control?  How did you tackle the design?

How you supposed to create an eight foot arc with a 12' straight moldboard?

This is done this way to cut grade using a detail provided.  The grade cutting will be done is straight segments.

We've worked with similar parabolic crown designs, and the key is creating a smooth transition between cross-slope sections so the blade doesn't roll over. Extending the first section and adding a small transition can help, especially for operators still learning lane guidance. We handled this by adjusting the model and testing with a used motor grader to achieve a consistent crown.
