Microdrone / MdInfinity point clouds

Does anyone else have problems with point clouds that have been processed through MdInfinity when importing them into TBC? There are a couple of issues I've been having with MdInfinity point clouds.
    1. Intensity levels do not show up from non-colorized LAS files provided. I have to import them into ReCAP and then export them to a e57 to get the intensity levels to show up in TBC.
    2. If I request MdInfinity to colorize the point cloud, then sometimes I can't get any colorized data to show up in TBC. Most of the time the point cloud only shows black colorization, even when changing the colorization views. All the colorization views do work in ReCAP or Civil 3d.

    Hello Tex,
thank you for your feedback. Would it be possible to get a smaller example file that shows the wrong behavior for download?
Add two screenshots. One from ReCAP or Civil 3d showing how the colorization should look like and one from TBC with the functions you used to display the point cloud. Let us know which TBC version you used, in case you did not run it with the 5.81 official build but a beta build.

Tex do you use also a different drone (not Microdrones) where the colorization works, as you emphasis MdInfinity?
Do you have a MdInfinity point cloud where the colorization works in TBC? If yes, please let us also have a point cloud from MdInfinity that works for download.

    Thomas,
I've been wrapped up at the office, but I still plan on getting that data to you.

Our drone data will show as all black if we have the shading mode set to "NORMAL SHADING MODE".  It shows colors when it is set to ambient or none.

Yep, that was the answer. I wish I would have known that before I went next door and kicked my neighbor's puppy.

    Hi Tex and Sage,
was the shading by default set to "Normal Shading Mode"?
Tex if you find the time please let me still access your data so I can reproduce it on my side with the current build and I can investigate it further.
Thank you Sage for the help!

    Cheers,
    Thomas

    Thomas,
The default was set to "Normal Shading". I sent you an invite to a Connect project with data and screenshots. You will see I also have the original LAS form MdInfinity and TBC will not show the intensity unless it is ran through Recap and exported to an E57 first.

    Thanks Tex.
I was able to download the files from the Trimble Connect project. I will try to get the data to the point cloud team and add your screenshots so they see the current state.
We are currently in the final release state of TBC v.5.90 and work mainly on critical bugs, so I assume even our issue here is a bug, but as the option with changing the shader is a possible workaround, we will probably move it to the next release for fixing, which means for the next 2-3 weeks I do not see it getting fixed.
