In addition to Charlie's recommendation, which is the cleanest way to do it, once you enter this 'cutoff template', you can resume your corridor with a reference template linked to the last one before the cutoff. I usually try to build all my corridors in one template, so this is pretty straight-forward. Oh I see someone jumped in with this while I was sitting on it!!
Another way to build gaps, if you are building your corridor using nested tables, is to use a '?' in a nested table at that 'cut-off station and resume the corridor at a station later. This is more practical when you are only having certain nodes come in and out, however, not gapping the whole corridor.

Subject: Multiple Templates on One Alignment
Good afternoon. Is it possible to enter multiple corridor templates on one alignment? The Alignment that I have, has a bridge incorporated in it. I am trying to Building may Corridor, minus the bridge section, and can not figure out that best approach to do so. Is there a way to select the End Station for a specific template? As you can see in the screen shot below, my typical section starts at STA 40+66.69 and ends at STA 48+70.00; then it begins again at STA 49+78.50 and ends at STA 50+40.85. Is there a way to draw this without creating two separate alignments?
Thanks in advance for any help.
