All,
I am having to replace my current PC and I was wondering what you all thought of graphic cards and processors. I am getting the 13th gen intel chip but I am wondering about the graphic cards. My IT guy priced and nvida rtx a6000 but they are really pricey and the GeForce 3090 seems to have comparable spec and better user rating not to mention way cheaper. I was even going to wait and get the latest nvida 40 series when it comes out in October. What is that TBC needs the most out of it graphics cards? I am planning on 128 Gb of RAM and SSD hard drives. I use a lot of lidar and drone data so it has to be able to handle that and large interstate projects as well.
I would hope that someone at Trimble has sat down and really consider all these factors and looked at the difference between these cards so that we can have the best TBC experience we can as users who don't have time waiting on views to refresh and crunching data.
