Photogrammetry Processing Rig Spec Conversation

    Good day everyone,

After the last Photogrammetry webinar there was a little segment where the question was asked "what is the photo limit"? The answer given was it is processing power dependent (Thomas running 512 GB RAM).

I wanted to open the conversation as it was mentioned the RAM plays a big part, what i am wondering is if there can be a detailed breakdown of what Imaging support and other Processors have found for limitations on hardware.

Currently on my processing rig, Details below, I have successfully processed up to 2000 images (single mission) with no issues.

    i9-12900k

    RTX A4000

    128GB DDR5 3600mhz

    4TB NVMe SSD

From the webinar, with the mentions of 100+MP cameras being supported, it would be great to know what that ratio of Photo GB to RAM GB is going to look like for those of us approaching 15,000+ collections.

Anything that allows us to keep using TBC with the Baseline processing of photos to a .t04 would be optimal as Correlator 3D can do 20,000+ but i find with that all the photos have to be either all Uncorrected or all Post Processed, and at the moment to my best knowledge we cannot export post processed EXIF photos from TBC.

I hope a topic like this will help all of us out here as the data sets get bigger and bigger as i know Processing Rig Power is a frequent conversation among our group.

Thank you for all the following conversations!! look forward to seeing the specs and suggestions!
