Point Groups

  • 1.  Point Groups

    Is there a way in TBC to create Point Groups like in C3D?  I have several observations shot with varying codes.  It would be nice to create point groups based on code and then toggle them on/off by group.

    easiest way would be to create a Feature Library ( FXL).  This will let TBC automatically move points and lines to a new layer which you will tell it where to move to.

      You will create this in either TBC or in the "feature definition manager" app.  The screen shot shows the points and lines will be moved to a certain layer and in TBC you create a group for those layers.  hope that helps some.

    You could create a Selection Set of the points. These can be created from Selection Explorer, which can be found on the Home tab. You could also use the Select Points option from the same location to initially select the points. For more details please look up "Create Selection Sets" and "Select Points" in the TBC Help.
