How do you create points and linework to export for staking purposes from Utility objects?

Steve, the easiest way is to export a "Data pipes" xml from civil 3D. If you have these design files available to you the XML export is the easiest way for staking utilities with Trimble Access. If you do not have the data pipes files available to you, then you will need the "Utilities module for TBC to create the utilities network.

It's been a few years since I've done this so I can't help with your export question, but, once you have exported a good pipe network LandXML file, then this video clip can show you how you can stake from it with Trimble Access.

I know how to import pipe networks from .xml and I know how to use the TBC utilities module. My question is how to export or explode pipe into 3d linework in TBC to be staked with anything other than Access.

This is through worksmanager but i believe its similar doing it the old way

I don't have the emulator installed on my new laptop but I've kicked out utilities before using the pipe networks, i remember it being similar to above.
