Where can I install Trimble Business Center versions 5.9 and 2023.10?

Do this if you want to install multiple TBC versions on your computer.

Option 1

1. Copy the entire "C:\Program Files\Trimble\Trimble Business Center" folder from a computer where it is installed
2. Rename this folder by adding the version number, e.g. "Trimble Business Center 2024.13"
3. Paste it on the other computer, e.g. in "C:\Program Files\Trimble".
4. Start TBC by running the TrimbleBusinessCenter.exe file. You can also add a shortcut to this file on your desktop.

Option 2

1. Make sure TBC is closed.
2. Rename the folder "C:\Program Files\Trimble\Trimble Business Center" to "C:\Program Files\Trimble\Trimble Business Center <version>" (e.g. "C:\Program Files\Trimble\Trimble Business Center 2024.13").
   1. You can create a shortcut to TrimbleBusinessCenter.exe on your desktop.

   2. If you can't rename the folder: go to Services, stop the service "Trimble External Services Daemon", rename the folder, restart the service.

3. Go to Add or remove programs, then uninstall TBC. Although it will not remove any file, Windows will think it's uninstalled but you will still be able to start it by running TrimbleBusinessCenter.exe. This will allow installing another version. You may also run the CleanUp Utility.
4. Download and install any other TBC version.

Notes about uninstallation

The uninstallation process depends whether the TBC version was installed, copied or renamed:

• If it was installed (but not later uninstalled), use "Add or remove programs" and uninstall Trimble Business Center.
• If it was copied or renamed, delete the folder (e.g. "Trimble Business Center 2023.13") you copied or renamed.
