I never had a R6 in my fingers but it must be similar to the old R8 or 5800.
Did you try the "Data Transfer" utility on the computer desktop? That's what I always use to download static from those old receivers, Bluetooth is way too slow.
https://geospatial.trimble.com/trimble-data-transfer-utilityYou'll have to create a device with the correct COM port first, which you need to figure out in the Windows device manager.

Bear in mind that if you plug the cable the next time into a different port the COM port can change and you might have to create another device.

Subject: R6 used as base , having issues downloading static data
I used an R6 as a static base for a days work and when I go to import the data to a tsc3 collector the download starts but then shortly after aborts. Ive tried the download using bluetooth and cable connections and neither worked. Ive also tried downloading it to different collectors with no success. I also tried setting the R6 up again as a base at the office, and ran it for a few minutes and was able to download the most recent files but not the one im looking for. The work was out of town in a remote location so travel back to the site will not be easy. Has anyone ever had an issue like this? Is there another way to get the file from the R6?
Thanks.
