Anyone else notice that the snaps function just stops working all of a sudden. Seems to be happening more frequently for me. Have to close TBC and restart to get it to work again.  Tried just creating a new plan view, but that doesn't work either. Which is something else that happens too. When the linework line weight all of sudden changes to very thick in the whole drawing, and you have to change to a new plan view to fix, anyone see this as well? 

Are you running an AMD CPU? I find the line weights change like you say the most when using break line command. If when using a basic command like break line and the snap indicators aren't showing - back out of the command and then re open it to keep the line weights from changing. This helps in my experience.

I've had projects that have upwards of 15 plan views eventually opened because of this issue. I have an AMD machine. 

I just ordered a new tower with Intel processors and don't expect to have the same issue.

I have the same issue, restarting the program is the only fix that works for me. This has been an issue for a while. Hopefully it will be addressed soon.

You don't have to restart TBC. Just create a new "Plan View", then delete the original plan view. This is a graphics problem that TBC has had for over a decade. Not a high priority for Trimble to fix.
