Surface model conflict with grader auto's

Hi, I have created a surface from supplied design strings to export to our grader.  However when I create the surface and check it with the surface slicer function I can see that the surface behaves awkwardly in some sections of the road.  The grader op has also stated that when they travel over particular areas the cut/fill jumps dramatically in the cut/fill guidance.  I have supplied a snippet of the problem and hoping someone may have some input on how to rectify it.

    Thanks,

    Hi Brian

Which version of TBC are you using?

I have seen and had similar problems for my graders when creating models in 23.10 version

I saw a short clip on YouTube that TBC 23.10  creates vertical "steps" on your linestring when using smooth curve in your models.

I did break the line at all the steps and then it disappeared but I don't know why? but it's for sure a bug.

    Hi Brian,

Those cut/fill jumps usually happen when the design strings have small misalignments or the surface TIN is too coarse. I'd check the strings, maybe smooth the TIN, and test a small section on the grader to see if it fixes the problem.
