TBC 5.8 Surface Boundary

    Hey,

    Is anyone else having issues with surface boundaries not being saved.

    I save a project after setting a surface boundary then go to another job, when I go back to the original job the boundary is gone and the surface is everywhere again.

    I too am having this same issue. If I apply a surface boundary either when I change view filters or save and reopen or select rebuild surface the surface boundary is no longer applied. The work around I have found that has helped me so far is that the line doesn't always remain "Included in surface", go to the boundary line and check yes for "include in surface". This should help. If for some reason or error in TBC 5.8 causes it to disappear again, you should be able to repeat this process rather than going to Surface Boundaries and Adding it again.

    We are still using 5.7, and we have also that issue. It's a hit-and-miss situation that sometimes it saved, most times not. I thought they would fix that in 5.8.

    I just tried with the following workflow (steps and video below)

    - Create a surface from point clouds
    - Create a surface boundary
    - Close and re-Open the TBC project
    - Rebuild the surface

    The surface boundary is still intact. Anything missing in the workflow? Can you provide the TBC Project and TBC Project folder where you see this issue?

    I could send the project that I'm having the issue in, but I've actually abandonned the use case in favor of using sharp texture boundaries and a null texture on the outside of the roads.

    The bug is sporadic I don't know that I can purposely get it to replicate. I had just fixed one surface when I decided to go look for a post or create one, once I fixed my own surface using the application of the linestring to the surface it has not duplicated itself despite that not being the first time I have had to do so on that very surface.
