TBC 5.90 Export to Clarity Not Working

  • 1.  TBC 5.90 Export to Clarity Not Working

    Hello,

    When we are exporting our scan projects from TBC 5.90 to Trimble Clarity and we are including the Station Views TBC is stalling at the creating KMZ level of the export.  If we don't include the station views, export to Clarity is successful.  This was not a problem in TBC 5.81.

    Is anyone else having similar issues?

    Hi Clayton,

    I tried v5.90 myself and I think there is something wrong too - a Project I was able to export without issue a couple weeks back in 5.81 is taking hours to process. I'll get something in front of our Engineering team.

    Hello, Today we have found that Trimble Clarity doesn't appear to be working.  We can't export anything to it now and when we try to access it, the Web portal apologizes from the Clarity Team for something that has gone wrong.  Anyone else having these issues?

    Dear Trimble,

    We spend a lot of money on this stuff, hardware and software.  We also spend a lot of money on other software brands (Agisoft Metashape), and some we get for free, like Emlid Studio. They all do a better job of monitoring and responding to the community thread boards than Trimble does.  Frankly, the last time I saw a Trimble representative respond, I was aghast at the tone of their response.  It was like they forget they are the consultant and we are the client (customer).  I have debated writing this post for a long time, not wanting to be blacklisted or biased against.  But really? A Trimble paid for product is down, that we share and rely on working for our client's benefit and project's added value utilizing the cutting edge technology benefits we have paid for in both hard and soft dollars and a Trimble representative can't be bothered to keep us updated or respond?  I am disappointed.

    Engineering have found the issue affecting exports to Clarity. They have developed a fix, but it is yet to be tested, but will be soon. However, there's currently no timeline on this being released publicly as there's other issues they are still looking into as well.

    Hello Brendon, Do you have an update on the status of this?  I am trying to export to Clarity today for a critical client share and it appears that it is still not working.  Was this fixed in 5.90.1 of TBC?  We have not updated and if that solves it, i will make the update.  Thank you.

    I just tried v5.90.1 and the Clarity export option is working.

    I also install the 5.90.1 patch and Clarity exported with point cloud and scan station imagery.  Thank you for fixing this Trimble.

    I'm not able to publish anything to Trimble Clarity from one computer but the other computer seems to work. Both have 5.90.1 installed but on our main desktop we keep getting the error below. 

    "An error occurred before processing could begin: 

    Multiple Exceptions: 

    The HTTP Status Code of the Response was not excepted (500).

    Status: 500

    Response:

    ]"

    Garrett, I am getting a similar error "An error occurred before processing could begin: Multiple exceptions: [An error occurred while sending the request.]"

    Running TBC 5.90.1
