TBC Exported RTX data Bug

  • 1.  TBC Exported RTX data Bug

When exporting data that was collected using RTX CenterPoint, using the default TBC exporters, Date / Time / Horizontal Precision / etc. are left as blank fields in the attribute table.

This seems to apply to the geodatabase and the shapefile exporters, but I haven't tested any others.

I believe this has to do with the position information for RTX data being stored in the connected data GNSS position solution table instead of within the GNSS vector observation table. The fix I've found for this is utilizing the custom export format editor, but I know this isn't licensed to all users, and having the correct export options for RTX data built into the exporters would make the product much more useful to us.

I just ran into this yesterday and can confirm that the export format editor is the best way to get all of your GNSS metadata. What I am trying to figure out now is how to get the native ITRF 2020 Current epoch out of TBC (or Access). It seems that both access and TBC can only leverage a fixed epoch. I can see the current epoch of ITRF 2020 on the GNSS position solution in the properties of the RTX position stored with the point; however, cannot seem to export geodetic coordinates for the current epoch. A customer of ours is needing the current epoch, as they are comparing against other data that is in the current epoch.
