TBC - "Show sideshot observations" checkbox

There are times when you just want to see the main traverse displayed without all the numerous sideshots. You can turn off all the sideshots by unchecking the box "Show sideshot observations". This is a really great feature when it works. There are times that it does not work and I cannot figure out why. Does anyone else see this happen? You uncheck the box, but all the sideshots are still displayed, or, some of them disappeared, but many still remain. Any advice or suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

this is not something i use, but is it just the case that the observations were done using f1/f2? anything with a single face observation would be considered a sideshot??? i my mind this is how the software works, it is not related to the traverse. but i could be wrong.

Ian, anything observed F1/F2 will still be displayed when you click sideshots off. You're right, F1 only topo collection are considered sideshots. When this is working in TBC it's really useful. Very disappointing when the sideshots still appear but you choose to exclude them from the display and there's no rhyme or reason for it.

hhm. seems like it could easily be a toggle in the project manager because they are already sorted as you described(and have a different coloured tie line).

i see potential in the project manager for a bit more control. like turning on and off certain data collector data sets. this would be incredible to sort and troubleshoot data.
