Using the create utility line command to "extrude" a user defined shape along a line is a great option but seems to be very limited when trying to use the result in other software such as in this case Trimble Connect or when reimporting into TBC via export to a landxml file.
When reimporting the landxml file into TBC, the software honors the line which the user defined shape is extruded along but the user defined shape doesn't translate correct, see picture below.
When using the landxml file in Trimble Connect the only thing that translates correct is the start and end point.
Is this a bug or by design?
Is it possible to get these types of landxml files to translate correct into other software? Would be great to be able to share the data with stakeholders that uses other softwares such as Civil3D, Novapoint, Bentley.
