I wanted to import my VCL template (I created it from the scratch) to a new TBC project. I used my VCL template in all previous versions of TBC problem free.

I tried drag and drop - formally it works (the VCL file can be seen in the Project Explorer along with all associated files).

However, when I right-clicked on the VCL file in the Project Explorer and opened NEW SHEET VIEW, although the new sheet view window is created,
the new window is completely empty (nothing is displayed there).

I tried to Import my VCL template through HOME/IMPORT - the result is the same - NOTHING can be seen in the new sheet window.

It is also the case, when I opened an older project in the TBC v5.70 with my VCL template, which was created earlier (in an older TBC version).
The new sheet window is empty, although in the v5.60.2 everything worked fine.

Have anyone an idea what´s the problem or is it a bug in the latest (5.70) version?

I had to downgrade the TBC v5.70 back to v5.60.2 to work with my VCL template problem free.

P.S. I tried to figure out what can be a problem and found that my old VCL template had some problems in v5.70.
So I loaded a newer one - now, it works but there is still some inconsistencies - look at the picture on the area
bordered by green circle. I do not know, why there are those numbers. They are not present, when the template is loaded
    to v5.60.2.

have you tried holding the " SHIFT+ CTRL" keys while you drag and drop the vcl file of the tab?  This will allow to open older versions into new version of TBC

Yes. But the strange numbers at the bottom left corner (as indicated in my picture above) are always present.
If I understand your picture correctly, you show that you drop a VCL template file on start page of a project.

However, this does not work with me. I have to drop the VCL template file onto PLAN VIEW.
The system does not allow to drop the VCL file when pointing with cursor over start page tab,
I have to hover with cursor somewhere in PLAN VIEW area.

resave a VCL of your data after you dropped into new project.  delete the extra data and then export VCL.  see if that helps.  there must be some data that is dependent of the data that your are exporting in the VCL.

Thanks Francisco! I will do it in a short time and will inform about it.

What is strange, when I open an older project in the TBC v5.70, which was created in TBC v5.60 and which uses exactly the same VCL template and all
associated files with it, there is NO problem in v5.70 (no strange numbers appear to the bottom left corner) and everything looks fine as expected.

    Francisco - thanks! It works.

    Another observation (solution):
I created a new project in v5.70, then - I dragged and dropped the VCL template file to the project FIRST (no data files were in the project).
After VCL importing, I imported corresponding JXL Trimble Access (2022.00) job file into the same project and all was fine!

    Thanks again!

    Martin
