You should have read the system requirements in TBC's release notes before purchasing new PCs:
Processor: Dual-core 1.80 GHz or better recommended Quad-core 2.80 GHz or better (additional cores with hyper-threading support highly recommended for Aerial Photogrammetry, Mobile Mapping, and Scanning modules) Important! Because components of TBC make use of Intel-only multi-thread processing,
AMD Ryzen processors are not supported.------------------------------

Subject: TBC with Intel VS AMD
does anyone have experience with AMD vs Intel with TBC?
i recently upgraded 2 systems in my office to the tune of 12,000$ to deal with point clouds/scanning etc but purchased AMD processors. I then realized TBC does not "support" amd processors. the software works fine but i am wondering if i am really missing out here or if its not noticeable? Only performance issue i have is point cloud regeneration seems to be very slow on big jobs....not sure if that's the processor issue not being supported?
Thanks
