Karen,
Be sure that you are using your dedicated graphics card and that the drivers are current for said card. Also, make sure that you are leveraging 50% of your total RAM in TBC via options--> point clouds ribbon. Also, make sure that you are NOT pulling from a network drive. You ONLY want to use SSD (NVMe) drives without exception. Regarding RAM, I would say 32GB is the bare minimum for TBC and i would suggest 64GB, allowing TBC ~32GB by itself! Lastly, if the slowness/lagging is happing primarily when panning/rotatating in 3D view, that is a sign of a sub-par video card. I would recommend no less than a NVidia graphics card with 6GB of VRAM.

Hello, I believe I have seen similar instances of graphics not refreshing as we would expect.

Subject: TBC-Working on Point Cloud data Issue
We have been having trouble working on point cloud data in TBC recently in multiple projects where the point cloud commands & graphics are not working correctly and/or freeze up regardless viewing them in plan or 3d view. Wondering if anybody else had this issue. We started seeing this last month with version 2024.10 and still dealing with this issue in version 2024.12 and 2024.13.
