I need to make the conversion from TopoDOT to TBC for point cloud analysis and extraction. I could use some help from the more experienced users on two basic issues:
- How do you create an accuracy report? I have 20 to 30 check shots that I need to compare to the point cloud and prepare a report of the differentials.
- How do you pick points in the cloud based on an average of points? It seems like, when you're drawing lines or placing points, TBC snaps to an individual point in the point cloud that is typically at the top. Is there a way to see the cloud cross-section while you visually pick a point? Perhaps a way to pick a location based on an average location of points near the curser?
- Any other advice for making the conversion from TopoDOT?
