Robert,
What version? The latest 2024.10? I have been experiencing this too but I have figured out a few things that have made it more consistently stable. First, make sure that you have plenty of space in your temp directory and (ideally) set it to a secondary SSD drive (versus the C drive). Second, don't work live off of a share drive if possible; this can be very problematic. Third, make sure that you are allocating the max potential RAM via Options-->PointClouds. Third, if you are on a subscription, be sure to have all web browsers up-to-date and make sure that you are signed in before attempting anything in TBC. I would even say to go to support--> license manager--> tap apply and ok when you open TBC to ensure no issues with respect to the subscription licensing. Lastly, it is always recommended to fully uninstall TBC & run the Office cleanup utility prior to installing a new version!
