Trimble Business Center SSF Import error a suitable importer could not be found

  • 1.  Trimble Business Center SSF Import error a suitable importer could not be found

We have recently updated to TBC v 2023.10 , we have the the Field Data, Survey Intermediate, Survey Advanced, and GIS Module. In the past we have used a Geo7 with Terrasync and successfully imported SSF files and post processed them in TB v 4.10 and above. I am on a Windows 10 Pro Machined. When I go to drag and drop my SSF files into TBC v 2023.10 I get the following error:

Interestingly if I try to import the files through Home>>Import>>Import Folder>> The 'Import' button is greyed out when on the SSF file.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

I was having a similar issue importing a standard cad file the other day. I discovered that my TBC license wasn't activated. As soon as I activated my license, the import feature started working.

I am also getting the same error even after applying the License on TBC v 2023.10.

I can confirm the same - it is impossible to import SSF files to a TBC 2023.10 project. The SSF format is UNKNOWN for its importer.
