Why are some of my feature code entries being deleted from my .job file when I transfer the .job from the TSC7 to Trimble Business Center?
For example while picking up topo shots and utilities:
I have a double coded shots on ditchlines, PN:10399 Code = DL35210 DL35269 start, TBC connected DL35210 from the previous point and to the next, also started DL35269 and connected to my next sequential shot coded DL35269. This works the same for BL's (breaklines) too.
BUT...my points double coded with FOC (fiber optic cable), UC (underground cable) and SS (sanitary sewer) do not keep the entered double coding.
For example, in my TSC7 I shot PN:10400 and coded it as "FOC10400 start FOC10402" or "UC10406 UC10408 start UC10410 close". My TSC7 shows the line connectivity and closures correctly, but when I copy the .job file and drop it into TBC, then notice immediately that PN10400 only shows the first code "FOC10400 start" and for some reason FOC10402 is deleted from the code.
It does not do this with BL's, DL's, DW's, HW's, etc. It seems to only do it to the codes FOC (fiber optic cable), UC (underground cable), and SS (sanitary sewer) so far.
I'm at a loss...
I've tried to even export DC files and JXL files, but they seem to drop the same extra codes as happens with the JOB file
I've double checked settings in the fxl file, data collector, TBC, and cannot even seem to find anyone else online with this same issue.
The only reason I do not simply export a csv file from the Trimble Access, is the csv with attributes (which is my required format) exporter doesn't come out in the correct format (PN, N, E, CODE, ATTRIBUTE NAME, ATTRIBUTE VALUE) requested by my client and I have to edit all of the ATTRIBUTE NAMES. Trimble access incorrectly exports it as follows:
100, 12345.123, 45678.900, 500.25, DW, DW:PD, GRAVEL DRIVE
I have not been able to get Trimble Access to drop the "DW:" from the attribute name column.
