Hi All,
First, the R750 should be nearly identical in terms of Siteworks functionality with the SPS855. The connection flow, settings, options, etc. should all be the same in Siteworks for the 855 and 750. In all instances, to connect to the R750 you must be using Siteworks v1.42 or above (Tom you mentioned v1.40 in a prior post. . .) Earlier versions of Siteworks below v1.42 and all versions of SCS900 will not be able to connect. And I'm not sure what version of Access would have added support but it would have been the version around the R750's release back in the second half of 2021. That's because those older versions were created prior to the release of the receiver and don't "know" about that receiver type.
@Julius Newman does the T7 have Siteworks v1.42+ on it? If not, I'd start there. If it does and your user still can't connect, then please submit a support case through SITECH and someone will be able to better assist.
So
@Tom Silicato if you're on Siteworks v1.42+ I'm wondering if the option codes on the receiver have not been properly configured and the receiver has not had the correct activations applied. I would give your SITECH a call and have them confirm that things are setup properly on their end and continue to work with them until you can get these connected and working as expected in Siteworks. And if you have Access on one of the data collectors, a quick test in there to see if you can configure it, or not, would be a good thing to check. If you still can't configure it in either Access or Siteworks, then there might be an issue with the receiver itself in needing activation codes.
If you're savvy with the WebUI you can connect to the receiver and look at the receiver options page in there, but it sounds like this might be a hardware configuration issue, which SITECH would be the front line to remedy for you.
But if you don't have v1.42+ of Siteworks please start there by getting at least that version installed and see if the same issues are present.

Hi Julius,
We also having an issue with our T7 Panasonic tablets both on Siteworks and SCS900. Do you or anyone know if these new 750's will have issues with SCS900 since it is an older software?

Hi Tom,
We had an issue with our T7 (noting that that's different to the TSC7) connecting to the 750 base on siteworks. We were however able to use the TSC5 to connect (also on Siteworks). I'll contact the user to see if we got a solution on the T7.

Thanks for getting back. We primarily use Siteworks but our surveyor uses both Siteworks and Access in his TSC7. Our dealer simply told us it should be the same as setting up and 855 with the exception that we need at least Siteworks V1.40 which we have.

Hi Tom,
What field software are you using to attempt to connect/configure? Siteworks or Access? Or just the WebUI?
Generally your dealer you got the equipment from should be able to help out with questions, but I or someone else here might be able to point you in the right direction.

Was not sure where to post this thread. My company just purchased 2 new Trimble R750 GPS base stations and our field crews are having some difficulty setting them up both from their T7 tablets as well manually entering the setup data using the screens on them. We have been using SPS855's for almost 12 years now. Can someone point me in the direction of any videos or tutorials on adjusting the settings and/or setting project parameters? Some of the issues we are having are:
- connecting and setting up the base station using the T7 tablet through bluetooth.
- manually entering information such as LAT and LONG, Height (we have 3 digit negative heights in Delaware and will only allow us to move 2)
- autobase will not recognize the site after having been at the site the day before.
