What are the differences between the normal TBC and the TBC HCE version?I was offered a full version of Trimble TBC HCE for €650. However, I need the software for surveying tasks, i.e. the normal TBC.Thank you for your help.

Till about 6 years ago, I believe version 4.12 or so, there were 2 TBC versions. Plain TBC focused on geospatial and TBC HCE (Heavy Civil Edition) focused on Earthworks and Civil Design.

With V5.00 both lineups were merged into one product. Meantime we are past version 5.91.

So, if it is an actual HCE version it is rather old, and you might miss some feature. It all depends on what you're planning to do with it.
