    Can anyone point me to a video tutorial on creating a vertical alignment based on info from a road profile on a drawing? I am trying to grade the CL of a road based on the info in the attached picture from a road profile plan. Having difficulty on what to select such as symmetrical, asymmetrical, arc, etc. in vertical alignment.

    That is an internal training video for our company, I think I created that one. We're releasing a full course very shortly with our entire process and selling it. Consider this a sneak peak!

    99% of the time a vertical curve is symmetrical. If the PC and PT are the same distance from the PVI it's symmetrical. If the distance between the PC and PVI is different than the PT and PVI then it's asymmetrical.
