Good day all,

I'm just wondering if this is still the case. I haven't been able to find TBC 5.41 anywhere, despite searching the forums and other online sources.

I'm retiring an older laptop and have purchased a new one, on which I need to install TBC 5.41, as that is the latest version my dongle is licensed for. I do have another dongle licensed for the current version that I use on a different laptop, so I'm not trying to cut corners. I'm just trying to stay compatible. 

Any guidance on how I can download TBC 5.41 would be greatly appreciated.

What's the exact issue?

The mobile internet connection was a bit sketchy when I uploaded it.

But I just downloaded it and the archive seems ok, I can unzip it. Installation I'd have to try on my private machine tonight.

The installation was unsuccessful unfortunately

Thank you for following up. I was able to download the file successfully; it was approximately 4 GB in size. The package contained a large number of folders and files, but I specifically located the installation package within the folder titled "TBC."

I proceeded to start the installation from that folder, and the install process appeared to run without any issues. However, once the installation completed, I attempted to launch the TBC application and nothing happened, which suggests the program did not install successfully.

I'm not sure whether any action was required with the other folders included in the package. I left them untouched, assuming the setup file would reference whatever it needed automatically. Please let me know if there are additional steps I should have taken.

The offline installer usually comes as ZIP.

The older ones came as .exe but were basically just an executable ZIP. They looked the same as the normal ZIP inside.

It is advisable to unzip the file into a temp folder first and start the Setup.exe from that folder. You don't have to do anything with the subfolders.

If the installation ran to the end and you restarted the computer, which is often required, and it won't start at all I'm a bit at a loss. I'll need to see if I can replicate this somehow. My private machine has several old versions installed already, including this 5.41 and newer ones, so the installer refused to do anything when I tried to rerun it yesterday. I'll need to see if my other old laptop is still working and if it hasn't got any TBC on it yet.

I was able to successfully install TBC 5.40 using the file you shared. Thank you again for your help, very much appreciated!

I have one follow-up question regarding licensing. The dongle I plan to use on the laptop where I installed TBC 5.40 shows a warranty expiration date of February 15, 2024. My understanding is that this should allow me to use any version of TBC released up to that date, which I believe would be TBC 5.90.

I was hoping to upgrade using the "Check for Updates" option within TBC, but it only appears to show the latest release, which I understand I would not be eligible to use.

Could you please advise on the best way to obtain and install the appropriate version (up to 5.90), or let me know if my understanding is incorrect?

According to this dealer's webpage, the most recent version for a warranty of Feb 15, 2024 would be
