hey guys, 

I had a corrupt TBC project and had to rebuild a new one. in doing so I've reconnected to my WM project inside the new TBC project. 

is there a way I can get my old WM design into the new TBC?  I tried creating a design with the same name as an old design to overwrite but it won't let me because I'm in a different TBC.

this has happened to be before, and I feel like the WM designs should be importable. or at least be overwritten (with a warning).

please let me know if there is a workflow I'm missing.

I have had luck doing a copy of the project and the project folder.  By renaming, I was able to open the corrupt project.  Trimble has a such a command for this need.  I haven't heard many people ask for this or mention this command.  

be sure to be logged into your Trimble ID.  TBC Command > WORKSMANAGERPROJECT<  you will then be able to choose your project and import all your WM setting" calibration first, then units, then control points, boundary and so on.  You should now have access to your WM account and project.  You will have access to external design that you will be able to quickly import if needed.

Hi Francisco, I still cannot get designs to import from WM

The add external and reassign external commands report.

I thought these commands were for job sites pre WM ?

can I download the designs from WM web portal and place them in a folder somewhere where TBC can read them and populate inside TBC?

using the WORKSMANAGERPROJECT  command will get you where you want to go.   This example I just opened a new TBC project.  All blank.  I was logged into the Trimble ID and used the WORKSMANAGERPROJECT command.

could those project design also be on your hard drive?
