Works Manager Project Boundary

    Hi

I seem to be getting a strange issue where the project boundary appears shifted when I adopt from Worksmanager to TBC when using a published coordinate system in WorksManager.

After drawing in the project boundary, i adopt it into TBC and the boundary is shifted even though i have everything set to the same coordinate system in both TBC & WorksManager.

However, when I create a dummy model in TBC and export using Machine job Site Exporter using the desired coordinate system in TBC, I use the Cal file to set up a dummy project in WorksManager and only then does the drawn in project boundary successfully adopt back into TBC in the correct position.

There seems to be an issue when I draw the boundary and adopt to TBC when I use a published coordinate system in Worksmanager! as opposed to throwing in a dummy .cal file created from the same coordinate system in TBC.

Been scratching my head with this for hours and I can't understand why!

    Richard

Can't say that I've noticed that issue at all, but then again, my work flow is a bit different. I will typically:

    1. Set up my units, coordinate system, etc. in TBC
    2. Create a new a project in WM with the name I want, skip through all the settings, draw a rough/dirty project boundary
    3. Add the project to TBC and publish all of my settings units, calibration (if using a published coordinate system or don't publish if setting up a site that needs calibrating)
    4. Adopt the project boundary from WM and fine tune it to where I actually want it, then re-publish it.
