Applying .FXL attributes to create asbuilt utility networks

Hi,

Is there a process to apply attributes captured in Trimble Access to create 'asbuilt' utility networks?

For example we capture the following attributes for Stormwater/Wastewater networks:

  • Measured pipe depth
  • Where measured from (lid level, directly at the invert, ground level, etc)
  • Where the depth is applied to ie top of pipe, obvert or invert
  • Pipe diameter
  • Pipe material
  • Approximate pipe direction from each manhole node.

From the attributes is there a method in TBC yet where you can automatically apply these attributes to create a pipe network?

At the moment we do this in another software, where you can automatically create a 3d pipe network, based on attributes you capture in the field. It will apply the measured depth to invert level and the pipe size to create the network. Ideally we would like to be able to do the same work flow in TBC.

Thanks

Bryce

Hi Bryce,

You should be able to use the Utilities Auto Draft command to achieve this: https://help.tbcanz.com/hc/en-au/articles/30022233096601-Utilities-Auto-Draft
