Im currently having a really simple problem which I cannot seem to find a solution to anywhere. I am creating CAD rectangles from two known points, Im clicking the rectangle button, naming it, selecting the elevation, selecting corner 1 point, selecting corner 2 point, at which point the rectangle shows as the right size and bearing, as soon as I click corner 2 point the rectangle flips and changes dimension to align with the gridlines in the background of my project. Ive tried turning gridlines off but I still have the same issue. Has anyone got a solution to this or a way to align the gridlines with my project? For referance the project is aligned to a Snake grid ECML14, I have tried different snap modes, ive tried toggling off gridlines, and Ive tried a 3 point rectangle which also completes to the grid line orientation.
