I have a project will the footer and column lines require Overexcavation.  I need to go either 3' below the bottom of footing elevation or 5' below existing ground, whichever is deeper.  I have drawings the Building Pad, Top of Footing, Bottom of Footing, and OG and elevated accordingly.  In the Overexcavate command, my "Specify Overexcavation" depth is 3' my "Minimum Beneath Original Ground" depth is 5'.  See attached a cross section from the surfaces. The Blue Line is my FG of Pad, Green is OG, Magenta is Top of Footer, Cyan is Bottom of Footer, and Gray is my Overex Limits.  It appears it is calcing overex 5' from OG regardless if the 3' from bottom of footer is deeper. I believe Subgrade Adjustments for the site are irrelevant at this point; please correct me if I am wrong.  Will TBC calc my overex based on the above parameters?

Thanks
