I hope someone can tell me if TBC can helps us with the following.
We are starting a project where we have been asked to show how much a tunnel deformed since it was built 15 years ago.
At the time of its construction every single ring was surveyed by Total Station. Between 5 and 7 points were surveyed touching a circular prism against the surface of the ring. The points were distributed as equally as possible around the circle. Then, in the software used at the time to guide the TBM, the points were imported, and after indicating the radius of the prism, the software gave the best oval/circular fit for the 5-7 points. A report was produced for rings every 10m.
We want to replicate the survey using either a prism as it was done 15y ago or a laser scanner (an X9) .
Is this something TBC could do for us? Which modules do we need? (we have the Scanning and Survey module)
We also have the geometrical definition of the tunnel and the same control points will be used.
