Same pain here. Backup the work order so you have record of the points, then offset the linestring to the same layer with 0 offset, then delete the original points on the rover tablet to avoid duplicate lines. We've submitted ideas to the Siteworks team to help eliminate some of the problems caused by their current solution for shooting in a line, but I haven't seen anything improve enough to eliminate this multi-step extra workflow for removing point association from the original line.
