I want to create a series of cross sections along an alignment showing design, and as built data.
I am having the following issue:
The point cloud data contains a vertical face which means I can't generate a surface. Creating a projected surface doesn't show in a cross sections sheet set.
Extract point cloud cross sections has the same issue.
I can use the cutting plane tool with a thin slice to manually extract the lines. This works well and I can see asbuilt data at my desired chainage compared to the design. Design data is in IFC format.
I would like to produce a series of PDFs based on the cutting plane views.
Does anyone know a good way to do this or a better way for me to get the desired result?
