 Cutting a cross section above the surface

I am wondering if anyone knows how to cut a cross section out of a point cloud at a consistent measurement about the surface. I am trying to find a way to get a cut (maybe 4-6 feet above the surface) to see the diameters of trees. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Victoria

If you have the Scanning module in TBC you can use the "Extract Point Feature" command to do this. When the command is open you choose "Tree" as the extraction type and then go to "Settings". There you will be able to the select how the truck diameter should be measured, you can select "Diameter at a fixed elevation above ground". Added a screenshot for you.
