Drone lidar point cloud imports very small

We occasionally receive LIDAR point clouds collected with a drone. In the past, it has imported fine into TBC with respect to size - just import as non-georeferenced LAS. The last one we received when imported into TBC was less that 0.01 feet wide. I went into a file that I had previously successfully imported a drone LAS, and reimported the LAS for that project. I then tried to import the new project LAS into that job without changing anything and the new LAS still came in tiny. I think it is the drone software (DJI Terra), but they tell me everything looks fine and measures right on their end - but they did just get an update and this job was the first done with the updated software.

So, 2 questions:

1 - is there a way to scale an imported point cloud?

2. Anyone know about DJI Terra settings that I can suggest to the drone people to get things to work?

Thanks.

David,

Yes there is. If you'd like, I'd be happy to get you a quote to shore up all your DJI terra and TBC issues/questions via a remote custom training. There are some serious "gotchas" when using DJI Terra whether using a camera or lidar/camera payload and doing PPK or RTK workflows. This training could be done easily in 4hrs if you already have a basic understanding of DJI Terra and TBC. Typically, your outgoing CRS in Terra would be a state plane Nad83 2011 projected coordinate system and then you'd bring those into TBC as georeferenced grid scaled in said CRS. Anyhow, feel free to message me directly through the community or spin up an email chain. zach.edwards@allterracentral.com.
