.DXF import error

I have version 2024.10 of TBC and I'm having some issues importing .DXFs. Some of them import fine by dragging and dropping but most of the others I get the message below. I've tried changing the names of the files and importing through the import tab but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I would see if you can save out (from AutoCAD civil3D or AutoCad Map3D) the DXF to a slightly older version. I have had luck with that in the past. Also, try saving out as DWG; I have had better luck working with the DWG file format in TBC than DXF. Lastly, I see that you have spaces in that directory (shown in the screenshot). Many software packages don't like this. A quick test would be to cut and past the dxf into the root of your C drive or another drive and then try bringing it into TBC. Lastly, you could run an purge/audit in AutoCAD and then export to DXF or DWG again. I hope that one of these gets you to the finish line here!

Thank you Zach , I tried all your suggestions and the one that worked was running purge/audit in civil 3d. I tried doing the same thing on some other files that weren't working and I still can't get a few of them to import but it did work for others. It seems like it might be a combination of a few things. Thanks for the suggestions again.
