Question

Is there a way to add a wild card to your feature code library codes for doing cross sections? For example can you use TBC01 FL01 EP01 CRN01 EP02 FL02 TBC02 and have the lines connect between all the TBC01's without having to do one side of the street ending with the code TBC ... and then doing the otherside of the street starting with code TBC ..

Don't really understand the question. Your example should work just fine.

Name the lines codes in the feature editor TBC, EP, CRN without the number suffix; and in Access you use the plus sign to add the number.

TBC will parse the code and recognize TBC01 and TBC02 as similar and i.e. re-layer/colour etc. as set for TBC; but will create two separate strings since the number is different.

Example below "picked up" in zigzag pattern, but lines automatically connected in road direction.
