 How to colorize aerial LiDAR?

I am familiar with colorizing SX10 scans - is it possible to colorize aerial LiDAR las/laz with photogrammetry I have captured or 3rd party imagery TIFF (OGRIP)?

The error I am receiving from TBC is, "There are no stations with images defined"

Is there a workaround? Or a way to create a station with "defined" images?

Thank you.

Sorry Ryan, this is not currently possible due to the fact that the cameras in the SX10/12 are aligned internally with the scanner optics.  This critical alignment is how the software knows exactly which pixels from the pictures (shot from onboard cameras) to apply to each point captured in the point cloud.

For more on this, check out this thread.

Several people have asked about this possibility.  Perhaps Trimble will consider a way to do this.  It would likely require the user to align all point cloud data sources within a specific tolerance, prior to colorization, to avoid incorrectly colorizing areas due to cloud-to-cloud shift.
