 How to send line work to apple maps

All,

I am working on a pathway and we are looking at using interactive QR coded signs for trail maps.  I know we can send kml and kmz files out of TBC but I was wondering if anyone knew if you can do the same thing but have it compatible with the iphone maps app and or google maps?  I don't want to force people to download an app but rather use the default map apps on their smart phones.

My previous go to for sharing maps beside using Google Earth.  Is/Was going to "goggle mymaps".  if you have a google account you can upload upload KML.  from there you will create a new mymap and upload the KML.  use the share button and can send it out to anyone that you send the link to.  on their mobile device as long as they have a Google Map app,  it will open that KML.  screen shot of one of the project i did.  I did this to use on my iPad before.   was trying to add a screen shot of one of my maps.  guess images is to large.
