Hi

I cant find any roles or setting for importing points (txt, scv) for the case of importing the same points.

Example:

I have a new project. I will import a txt file (points). I will repeat importing the same txt file a few times. And now it was strange.

One day ago, TBC asked me, in the importing process, If I want to replace the points, that TBC found points with the same ID and coordinates. At the same time TBC of my colleague didnt ask and just add a new set of points. After an hour of testing my TBC stop to ask me any more.

Now.... after importing the same file my TBC didn ask.....just replace or just ignore new importing set...i am not sure

The box for importing as grid points is checked in importing definition ...I havent change anything and TBC react diffrent ways.

I need TBC ask me anytime......any time TBC would find any similarities.

Can I set it somehow?

Next question.

I have a project. The are a few poins I want to edit coordinates directly in the properties window, but I cant to get the cursor in the boxes of coordinates (gray color)....how to change it into editable boxes with blue color coordinates?

Thank you all for your answers

Have a look at the tolerance and merge options in the project settings. Did your colleague use the exact same project?

Where do the points you'd like to edit originate from? Have you got the symbol that lets you jump to the connected grid data of that point?

If the point is derived from observations, I don't think you'll be allowed to edit the coordinates.  You can right click over the point as highlighted in the points spreadsheet and choose "add coordinate" and set as control quality.

Thank you Ronny

this setting in the project setting solve the problem with importing.

About next question

Points are made by the tool "Create point" so I try too avoid this tool couse of loosing the ability to edit the coordinates directly. I know about ability of changing throught ""connected grid data"...simply, it sucks

I have a lot of these created points...so I tried to export and import them to get the direct edit possibility.
