Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has recently ran into this issue with TBC 5.8, seems kind of specific to our setup in my company though. This seems to pop up only when using TBC over an RDP (remote desktop) session? If the user goes into the office in person they're able to create new projects no problem. So I'm wondering if it's either a GPU or straight-up issue with RDP or the new version? So far I've tried:
- Reinstalling
- Clearing out the appdata
- Updating and reinstalling the GPU driver
- Reinstalled .Net 3.5 + 4.8
- Ran an SFC/DISM scan to repair any Windows corruption
- Ran TBC via a different user profile, but got the same error (over RDP)

Hopefully someone has ran into this before and found a solution. Thanks for taking the time to look :)

RDP doesn't support the video drivers or OpenGL, it will not use the remote computers graphics. I'm assuming this is why TBC is giving you that error. I just tried to open TBC on a remote machine and I'm getting a "Exception has been thrown..." error when I try to open it. I would find another third party remote app like Opensource IP-KVM or another app that supports OpenGL.

This is an old thread but you try what they sugest
