Layers turning off automatically

All,

I have issues with shutting off a surface and it killing the layer that was making up the surface. Or shutting off a surface and it still be checked as on and vise versa. Something is weird with the system. I am running the 5.71. I haven't gone to 5.81 yet because there is always seems to be bugs that need workout out. That being said I do a lot of site modeling and heavy highway modeling and design. So I use drone data and drafting a lot in order to do this. Will 5.81 be any advantage to me? Right now everything is working and I don't want to create a headache I don't need.

It seems that sometimes when you go to turn a layer on or off, TBC still has the last layer you changed highlighted, so it changes the state of both the one you select and the last one you had selected. 5.81 seems to be stable. The 5.90.1 patch for 5.9 seems stable, but there is still something going awry when processing Phantom 4 RTK camera data.

I am currently using 5.80. I run into the issue when I turn off a layer, its stays on and the check box is unchecked. I usually uncheck it again and uncheck again to turn the layer off. So, 5.80 has a little bit of a bug on this too. This doesnt bug me as much.
