Hi all,

I'm having an issue while viewing scan data in the 3D view when I try to pan my view around. I can rotate with the middle mouse button as normal, but as soon as I go to pan with ctrl+mmb, the scan pops out of view, and I have very limited control over where I can pan the image. I've attached a gif of what this looks like since it's a bit tough to explain.

Does anyone know why this is happening? I've tried saving/reopening the file a couple of times, even tried working with a completely different file and restarting my machine, but the issue persists. Any help is appreciated!

What Version are you using?

Have never seen that behavior. I use middle mouse button for rotating and right mouse button for panning. But it also works in your combination with Ctrl.
Usually the center of rotation (COR) is set to where the mouse pointer was when you entered the rotation mode, or if there was a drawing object nearby it will snap to that one.

Check in the Support Tab -> Options what you've set for the COR behavior.

If unsure what the options mean press F1 once your are in that window.

This is 5.70.1.

Good suggestion on changing the rotate/zoom about center point, but that didn't change anything for me. I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling TBC which restored the pan functionality to normal. I reached out to my local dealer to report the bug as well.

Thanks for the suggestion!
