Show cut/fill and elevation data between two surfaces in cross-sections?

Hello,

I have two surfaces — an existing ground surface and a finished surface. I created an alignment along the finished surface.

Is there a way to get both surfaces to show up in cross-sections, with:

  • Elevations for each surface at the sampled stations

  • Segment lengths (between sample points)

  • And the cut/fill values at each station?

I basically want to see how much material was cut or filled between the two surfaces, shown per station in section view.

I’ve already created the sheet sets and stations, and I mainly want to extract the cut/fill info — but I can’t seem to get that without building a corridor. Even then, the cut/fill doesn’t seem to work right.

Also — is there any way to create a corridor from a surface? I already have a finished surface and an alignment, can I build a corridor model based on that surface geometry, instead of building the templates manually?

Appreciate any help — thanks!

You can just use the Instruction type>surface to add a surface to a corridor
