Snap is not working properly... Help!

The different type of snaps are turned in the Running Snap Mode Options window, however, when moving, for example, one line to another with the intension of snapping the end points together, Trimble is recognising the snap by letting the snap symbol appear at the end of the line, but it drops the line wherever my cursor is instead of the end point. This didn't use to be a problem until the 5.60.8046.36884 update.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Trimble has been made keenly aware by several users, have acknowledged the issue, and promised a fix in an upcoming release. It's been several months since inception. Use right click snaps to work around.

All snaps were fixed in 5.60.2

Hello Charlie,
I've confirmed the issue on two machines both running 5.60.2. It appears that the running Free snap is being honored first even if the Free snap is at the bottom of the osnap list, and the EndPoint is at the top, and the expected EndPoint snap indicator is highlighted when moving the line. I assure you an issue remains. If the Free snap is off, the highlighted EndPoint snap indicator is used as expected and the line is move where expected. I hope this helps you understand the issue.

The highlighted EndPoint snap indicator was present at the end of the gray line as expected but the cursor was slightly off when I clicked. This is the resultant location of the move.

Ok. That will be fixed in the very near future.

@Richard Tyndall The snaps in TBC are currently atrocious. That is seriously the only word that could describe it. It's almost embarrassing how bad they are. I feel bad when I'm screen sharing with my guys and I'm just watching them constantly struggle with the snaps. I've never been able to see the actual results of the snap priority working correctly. But the way the end point snap works right now is terrible. I'd love to know how much wasted time it's caused us. It adds up quickly. Or the worst is when the end point snap disappears, then I have to move away from it, then move back to it. I've also found that it will sometimes correctly snap to the end point, even when the end point snap indicator isn't shown. Anyone who has spent any time actually building something in TBC would recognize how screwed up the snaps are. Especially when you have a busy or complex project with lots of lines and a lot going on.

Another change that happened within the last couple versions was the surface snap doesn't work anymore if you have your surface as not selectable. I can see why this makes more sense, but I hate having my surface selectable but always need to snap to the surface. It didn't used to be that way, I understand why it makes more sense, I just wish there was an option to make a surface no selectable but also be able to snap to the triangles like you could before.
