 Sudden snap to zero

Hej!

Since updating to 2023.11, when drawing a linestring it suddenly snaps to around 0,0 in the project which often causes the program to crash. Is this a known bug?

How is this possible? Even waited until 1 week ago before i updated because in all new versions its ALWAYS somtehing f....ed up but even that didnt help. It used to be drafting that is messed up but this time its the snaps, it gets stuck, freezes and just delivers error messages. Is there no test crew at all in the trimble office?

This happens to me a lot as well!  I can't seem to figure out exactly what causes it, but sometimes I will click a line endpoint with end snaps turned on and the coordinate it snaps to is somewhere close to zero, usually like 23,15 or something.  If I use a right click snap and choose end point and then click the end of the line it selects the right coordinate.  I agree its very annoying.  THANKFULLY the incorrect coordinate is way off and very apparent, this always makes me extremely nervous that at some point in time maybe the same error existed but only slightly off.

Try creating a arc from a ~3,000,000. ~1,000,000 coordinate and it does it. Especially if the lines part of a surface. You better hope you saved lately cause you have to exit out and get back in.

I have the same issue happening. When it occurs, I use undo and zoom in somewhat close to the point I am snaping to. The other way I have found to combat this is to use only the specific snaps that are required. It's kind of a pain but hope this helps.
